MIRROR SYMMETRY
Mirror patterns create symmetrical melodic shapes where the intervals ascending to a pivot point are reflected in reverse when descending. Example: ascending m2-M2-m3 mirrors as descending m3-M2-m2. The pivot point acts as the axis of symmetry, creating balanced and memorable melodic contours.
